PC Remote Controls

The PC remote control package will allow you to control any program on your PC via an IR remote. The software contained in the package is preconfigured for use as an mp3 remote control or winamp remote control. A full version of window's 98/ME/XP/2000 compatible software is included in the package. For Linux users freeware software is available at www.lirc.org. Currently this software does not support notebook computers with other IR devices. PC Remote Control is useful software that lets you remotely control your computer from several origins, including the serial port (RS-232), keyboard, TCP/IP and other devices specifically designed for remote control.

The main purpose of this program is to control the computer in the same manner as you do with the TV, VCR, HiFi and similar equipment with a simple infrared remote.
